DeGeneres Honored for Her Humor and More at Kennedy Center

While President Obama and Mitt Romney rumbled over unfamiliar process in a final presidential discuss on Monday night, it was all laughs during a John F. Kennedy Center for a Performing Arts in Washington as Ellen DeGeneres perceived the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

Friends and contemporaries of Ms. DeGeneres distinguished a comedian and daytime talk-show horde for violation belligerent for lesbians and happy group in American culture. Ms. DeGeneres, 54, became a 15th target of a award; prior winners embody Will Ferrell, Tina Fey and Bill Cosby.
