Doctors Face Annual Fitness-To-Practise Test

Doctors’ skills are to be checked each year to safeguard they are fit to practise.

From December, each alloy will have an annual assessment, with a some-more extensive assembly to exam their cunning each 5 years.

The new manners have been brought in by a Department of Health in and with a General Medical Council (GMC), that regulates a profession.

They are a biggest change to medical law for 150 years.

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt said: “Doctors save lives each day and creation certain they are adult to speed with a latest treatments and technologies will assistance them save even more.

“This is because a correct complement of revalidation is so important.”
