Just weeks ago, Hillary Clinton was staid to slip out of bureau as secretary of state with job-approval ratings nearby 70% and a domestic hum suggesting she is already a 2016 Democratic presidential claimant to beat.
Then, disaster struck during a American consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Mrs. Clinton calls a “terrible events”—involving a genocide of a U.S. ambassador—”one of a many challenging” durations of her four-year tenure.
