The series of flights cancelled stands during some-more than 5,000, reports The
Telegraph’s Nick Allen in Los Angeles. That enclosed 2,300 on Monday at
Newark, and New York's Kennedy and LaGuardia airports, and 650 at
Philadelphia. The figure was approaching to grow further. The knock-on affects
are being felt distant over a US, with flights from all over a world,
including Britain, Europe, Australia and Asia, cancelled. BA and Virgin
Atlantic have cancelled all flights from London to East Coast states,
bringing wretchedness to families on half-term holidays.
