David Cameron was during fight with his possess comparison law officer final night after insisting that prisoners would not be given a vote.
Attorney General Dominic Grieve was pronounced to be 'furious' with a Prime Minister's stance.
Last night there was conjecture that Mr Grieve could even renounce his Government purpose if a Prime Minister fails to honour a 'rule of law' and do as he wishes.
