Qld bureaucrat faces ethics probe

QUEENSLAND’S Transport and Main Roads director-general Michael Caltabiano has stepped aside after being indicted of dubious state council over his work history.


Mr Caltabiano could face rapist charges over a matter as a Newman supervision has done fibbing to council a rapist offence.

Transport and Main Roads Minister Scott Emerson says he has created to Speaker Fiona Simpson, who on Thursday referred statements by Mr Caltabiano to a Parliamentary Ethics Committee.
