Gun sales on the rise after Obama's re-election

Owners of some Houston gun shops contend they have beheld an boost of gun sales given President Barack Obama’s re-election, and charge a rush to a president’s anxiety in a discuss to renewing an attack purloin ban.

Jim and Joy Pruett, who have run Jim Pruett’s Guns and Ammo for 11 years, pronounced sales have left “through a roof” given Election Day. “We haven’t been means to keep adult with it,” Pruett said. “It’s over the wildest imagination.”

Matthew Swan, a firearms associate during Gander Mountain on Hempstead Road, pronounced he’s also beheld an uptick in gun sales and ammunition given Obama’s re-election.

“People come in here with opinions,” Swan said. “There are people entrance in that have never even been meddlesome in firearms.”
