Key advisor insists leaders keen to reach budget deal

David Cameron has pronounced there has not been adequate swell in slicing behind “unaffordable spending”, as he arrived for a second day of talks in Brussels.

European Union leaders are assembly to plead a subsequent budget, though a leaders of France and Germany have pronounced they doubt that agreement can be reached.

Earlier, a President of a European Council Herman Van Rompuy, circulated a new offer for a bill and pronounced he believed a concede was possible.

The BBC’s Norman Smith spoke to Richard Corbett, an confidant to Herman Van Rompuy, about a problems in reaching a consensus.
