NEW YORK – The National Hockey League and National Hockey League Players’ Association will continue negotiating toward a new Collective Bargaining Agreement on Thursday during an undisclosed plcae in New York City.
The sides met for roughly 6 hours Wednesday after a seven-hour negotiating event Tuesday.
“The National Hockey League’s negotiating cabinet met with member of a National Hockey League Players’ Association for approximately 5-1/2 hours today,” NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said. “Meetings are scheduled to resume [Thursday]. We do not intend to criticism on a piece or theme matter of today’s negotiations.”
Added NHLPA Executive Director Donald Fehr: “The NHLPA and a NHL met currently to plead many of a pivotal issues. We demeanour brazen to resuming talks [Thursday].”
Thursday will be a third true day of negotiate this week and a fourth time
