Rouzer concedes in N.C.

Republican David Rouzer has conceded to Democratic Rep. Mike McIntyre in North Carolina's 7th District.

Rouzer's detriment means that Democrats netted 8 seats this year. Democrats will need to flip 17 Republican seats in 2014 in sequence to seize a speaker's gavel.

There is one remaining uncertain congressional, in Louisiana's 3rd District, where dual Republicans are interconnected in a Dec. 8 runoff.

With McIntyre, an eight-term obligatory progressing a 663-vote lead over Rouzer, a Republican announced in a late Wednesday matter that he would abandon serve hurdles to a opinion count.
