Election officials in a storm-ravaged tri-state segment are scrambling to brand choice locations for polling sites and understanding with a probability of sites lacking power, stoking fears that many won’t be means to opinion on Tuesday.
In New York, about dual dozen polling sites, many on Long Island, Staten Island and in portions of Brooklyn and Queens, are “completely unusable” due to charge damage, pronounced Douglas Kellner, co-chairman of a state Board of Elections.
