Norovirus winter bug cases hit one million

More than one million people could have held a winter illness bug called norovirus, according to experts.

The Health Protection Agency says there have been about 3,538 reliable cases in England and Wales given a summer, 83% some-more than a same time final year.

But a HPA says that for each reported box of norovirus around 288 go unreported, that means some-more than one million people could have had a bug.

Health Protection Scotland has also seen a arise in cases.
