INAUGURATION MONDAY

– The open swearing-in rite Monday will be hold on a west front of a U.S. Capitol and is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. when VIPs start to arrive until shortly before 1 p.m. when President Obama and initial lady Michelle Obama, along with Vice President Biden and mother Jill Biden, leave for a congressional luncheon, and after a parade.

– Local officials guess 500,000 to 700,000 people will be on a National Mall to declare a ceremony, compared to 2009 when an guess 1.8 million saw a country's initial black boss take a presidential oath.

– Obama will be sworn in by Chief Justice John G. Roberts on dual Bibles: one from President Lincoln and a other from a Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
