Jihadist claims Algeria attack for al Qaeda in video: site

NOUAKCHOTT (Reuters) – Veteran jihadist Mokhtar Belmokhtar has claimed shortcoming in a name of al Qaeda for a mass hostage-taking in Algeria and called on France to hindrance atmosphere strikes in Mali, Mauritanian news website Sahara Media pronounced on Sunday, citing a video.

“We in al Qaeda announce this sanctified operation,” Belmokhtar pronounced in a video, according to Sahara Media. “We are prepared to negotiate with a West and a Algerian supervision supposing they stop their bombing of Mali’s Muslims.”

Sahara Media did not arrangement a video itself on the site and it was not immediately
