“A few mins after 3 paramedics arrived during a stage and continued
to lift out serve CPR. Around 20 mins after a male was announced dead
during a stage by a paramedics.
“This occurrence has been willingly referred to a Independent Police
Complaints Commission.”
Chief Inspector Ian Drummond-Smith, of Devon and Cornwall police, said: “This
is a really critical incident. We can't assume on what has indeed taken
place here today.
“A full review has now begun and while a IPCC lift out their
review it is not suitable to criticism further.”
