WASHINGTON — Repealing a tolerable expansion rate (SGR) regulation for medicine payment underneath Medicare will expected be a high priority for a new personality of a pivotal congressional health subcommittee.
Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas), who took over as chair of a House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee as a 113th Congress kicked off this week, wants to work with a House Energy and Commerce Committee to qualification legislation to henceforth dissolution a SGR and reinstate it “with a arguable medicine payment regulation that rewards quality,” the congressman wrote in a news release.
