Even so, Mr. Obama's second tenure could offer a pivotal event to restart a Israeli-Palestinian assent process. In his initial term, he corroborated divided from a process, reckoning that America could intercede usually if a parties themselves wanted to make assent — and that new talks were doubtful to be productive.
