Clive Burr, the ex-Iron Maiden drummer, dies aged 56

Burr left Iron Maiden in Dec 1982, only as they were about to turn a
tellurian track title act, and after seemed on recordings by steel bands
such as Desperado, Trust, Stratus, Gogmagog and Elixir.

When Burr was diagnosed with MS in 2001, his earlier Maiden bandmates raised
income for his vital costs by behaving gift concerts and assisting to
form a Clive Burr MS Trust Fund. In a final years of his life, Burr was
cramped to a wheelchair.
