Hackathon's Goal: A Smartphone Game That Scores Points for Cancer Research

A UK-based gift is sponsoring a weekend hackathon, though those invited won’t be regulating their coding talents to allege any business causes. The 40 programmers, gamers, striking designers and other specialists will spend a time conceptualizing a smartphone diversion that can let normal users assistance with cancer research, and 3 of a world’s largest record companies — Amazon, Facebook and Google — will be aiding in that effort.

Cancer Research UK is organizing a eventuality — code-named “GeneRun” — that combines crowdsourcing, large information and gaming. The wish is that a smartphone diversion will be expelled to a open this summer.
