The Great Barrier Reef will turn small some-more than a mass of seaweed if a growth of spark ports on a Queensland seashore continues, a sea consultant says.
Professor Callum Roberts says mining firms don’t caring about a reef, and a Queensland supervision needs to do some-more to strengthen ‘this tellurian icon’.
‘Most of a (mining firms) don’t give a things about a environment,’ Prof Roberts, a sea charge biologist during a University of York in England, told AAP.
‘The Great Barrier Reef requires a really best protection.
‘It deserves a really best, if it is going to survive.’
