Did we know that a food attention has combined opposite kinds of salt to fit their specific products?

(TIME.com) — In his new book, “Salt Sugar Fat,” Pulitzer Prize winning inquisitive contributor Michael Moss takes readers on a debate of a $1 trillion processed food industry, and a sights aren’t pretty.

The normal American cooking 33 pounds of cheese and 70 pounds of sugarine a year, and health experts contend those trends triggered a plumpness widespread that has left millions during risk of heart disease, diabetes and other ongoing health conditions.

Based on his interviews with tip attention executives from Kraft to Coca-Cola as good as heading food scientists, Moss discusses how we became so contingent on processed food.
