Astronomers find planets in our cosmic backyard

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) – Hugh Jones of a University of Hertfordshire says he and his colleagues have rescued no reduction than 5 planets orbiting Tau Ceti, a star that is only 12 light-years away.

Tau Ceti is a sun-like star in a constellation Cetus, (the whale) and can been seen with a exposed eye. What’s some-more is astronomers study a light from a star have rescued 5 planets orbiting it. One of those is within a star’s Goldilocks zone, a rope of space around a star where glass H2O could presumably exist.

This intrigues astronomers given glass H2O is a exigency for life as we know it.
