A Queensland male has been left with serious spinal injuries after an collision involving a handcrafted waterslide.

The 20-year-old and a organisation of friends had done their possess 15-metre waterslide in a rivulet nearby a skill during Murphys Creek, west of Brisbane.

Around 10.40pm (AEST) on Christmas Eve, a male slid down a slide.

But he skimmed opposite a rivulet and strike a bank on a other side.

He was treated during a stage by paramedics and airlifted to sanatorium with serious spinal injuries.
