Obama, Congress set for one last effort on 'fiscal cliff'

WASHINGTON/HONOLULU Dec 26 (Reuters) – President Barack
Obama is due behind in Washington early Thursday for a final
effort to negotiate a understanding with Congress to avert or during least
postpone a “fiscal cliff” of taxation increases and government
spending cuts set to start subsequent week.

No specific check traffic with a precipice was on a schedule
of possibly a U.S. Senate or House of Representatives, that are
expected to lapse on Thursday after a holiday break.
