NEW YORK An svelte 60-foot finback whale that cleared adult on a coastal village ravaged by Superstorm Sandy has died, sea officials pronounced Thursday.

The whale was found beached Wednesday in Breezy Point, Queens, where 126 homes burnt down and some-more than 2,000 were shop-worn during a Oct. 29 storm. It was carried out during high waves though cleared ashore another time on Thursday, and sea officials pronounced they found it dead, according to media reports.

"Biologists have reliable that a whale has died," Mendy Garron, a sea reptile rescue dilettante with a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, told Reuters. "Plans are now being grown for necropsy and ordering of a carcass.”
