My 92-year-old aunt, who is cognitively marred and requires a hiker or wheelchair to get around, still lives in her possess apartment, where round-the-clock home health aides assistance her get to and from a bathroom, bathe, dress and undress, and go outward any day for some uninformed air. The aides shop, ready and offer meals, do light housekeeping and make certain she takes her drugs on time.
But final month, my aunt's long-term caring word ran out, and her scanty assets will shortly do a same. Then what?
Her daughters, both of whom work to support their families, can't means a $150 a day for 24-hour
