Ex-FSA chief Sants knighted in New Year honours list

Former FSA arch executive Hector Sants has been awarded a chivalry in today’s New Year honours list.

Sants (pictured), whose spell during a helm of a FSA encompassed a financial predicament and a successive preference to reinstate a regulator with dual new bodies, has been knighted for services to financial services and regulation.

The endowment comes notwithstanding Sants carrying faced complicated critique during his reign following a near-collapse of a UK banking complement in 2008.
