Man struck by ute and car

A MAN has been killed after being struck by dual vehicles on a Tasman Highway during Cambridge.

The 21-year-old Howrah male was station on a highway about 2.40am yesterday when he was strike by a white Mitsubishi Triton ute travelling towards Hobart.

Police contend a motorist of a ute, a 25-year-old Rokeby man, did not stop during a stage though gathering to a residence during Warrane.

Shortly afterwards, a blue Holden Commodore sedan, also travelling towards Hobart, was incompetent to equivocate attack a male who was fibbing on a highway, military say.

The motorist of a Commodore stopped during a stage and contacted puncture services, and about a same time a motorist of a ute also contacted police.
