Politician accused of tire slashing faces judge

A former congressional claimant was in justice Saturday morning indicted of slicing a domestic opponent’s tires.

Gary Smith ran opposite associate Republican Janice Arnold-Jones for New Mexico’s First Congressional District until a decider took him off a list for not carrying adequate signatures.

Surveillance video from Arnold-Jones’ residence shows a man, that appears to be Smith, puncturing a tires to dual vehicles in her driveway.

Smith, when vocalization with KOB Eyewitness News 4 contributor Chris Ramirez, denied a allegations.

The decider kept his bond during $5,000.
