Sharpe hails outstanding Palu

Wycliff Palu perceived outrageous regard from timid skipper Nathan Sharpe who described him as one of a best No.8s he’s played with after his measureless bid opposite Wales.

Palu had a shining diversion for a Wallabies who degraded Wales 14-12 with a late try to Kurtley Beale removing them out of jail in Cardiff on Saturday (Sunday AEDT).

The plain No.8 was during his punishing best and reminding Sharpe of one of his former Queesland and Australian teammates.

‘He reminds me of Toutai Kefu … they’re a dual best series eight’s I’ve played with,’ Sharpe said.

The highly-regarded Kefu was a powerhouse No.8 and played in Australia’s 1999 World Cup winning side.
