RENO, Nevada — Sheila Leslie, a former state senator who left a protected Democratic district to take on a Republican colleague, says she’s putting inaugurated bureau behind her, during slightest for now.

Leslie tells a Reno Gazette-Journal (http://on.rgj.com/VgjKxv ) she has no goal of using for another open office.

A maestro lawmaker who served 12 years in a Nevada Assembly before being inaugurated to a Senate in 2010, Leslie quiescent her chair progressing this year when she changed out of her district to a smaller home.

She afterwards filed to plea Republican Sen. Greg Brower.

Leslie mislaid a Reno’s District 15 state parliament competition by 266 votes in November.

But she’ll still voice her opinions on Nevada policy. Leslie debuts this week as a columnist for a Reno News Review.
